Overview
Pharmacological therapy for ventricular tachycardias includes drugs like beta blockers, amiodarone as first-line agents in acute and chronic settings. Mexiletine, a class IB agent, is preferred as add-on therapy in recurrent VTs associated with ischemic cardiomyopathy, despite standard treatment.
