Overview
Despite the advances made in the management of obstructive airway diseases, achieving optimum control of asthma and COPD is still a challenge in the real world scenario with issues like suboptimal adherence to therapy, incorrect inhaler technique, over reliance on relievers and complex treatment regimens. This session focuses on advances and development of novel patient-centered approaches including customizing and simplifying intervention regimens, identifying barriers to device usage and improving adherence.
