- C. albicans had posaconazole resistance (17.65%), while C. parapsilosis had fluconazole resistance (25%)
- C. auris exhibited multidrug resistance (fluconazole 87.5%, caspofungin 50%)

- The study ascertained the link between 75 serum metabolites & incident diabetic foot complications in 637 T1DM patients (median age 55, HbA1c 8%, diabetes duration of 35 years)
- Threonine & succinic acid were linked to prevalent amputations (p < 0.05), ribonic acid (HR:1.02) & nonanoic acid (HR:0.96) were linked to incident ulcers
- The link between ribonic acid & DFU was also validated in an independent cohort.
